Basal has been funded by group of investors. This group has got diverse and vast knowledge of the financial market besides Health care and Medical Sector.
These investors have been involved in funding various companies in the field of Health care, Medical, Business Solutions, Interiors Design etc.
Basal has been given a mandate to spread its wings in the domestic as well as in the international markets with a vision to attain pioneering position in the Indian healthcare industry.

Team

Our team comprises of highly trained and motivated professionals of Indian healthcare industry who have honed their skills at some of the best medical devices MNC’S and Indian companies like Johnson & Johnson, Roche Diagnostics (Boehringer Mannheim, GmbH), Olympus, Sisco-Pentax, DSS Imagetech, Medtronic, Becton Dickinson and Eli-Lilly across diagnostics, medical devices and pharmaceuticals segments handling functions like sales and marketing, after sales service, finance and logistics. Their combined experience of business development and key account management is well over 100 years. This highly experienced team is going to be our main strength and that would be the key differentiator between Basal Healthcare and other companies operating currently in the market place.

SANJAY CHOWDHURY


Marketing Professional with over 30+ years of experience in all segments of Indian Health Care Industries namely Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices and diagnostics.
Sanjay had the privilege of handling and launching some of the worldwide blockbusters in the Indian market. He handled world famous products like, ISOPTIN and EUGLUCON. The introduction and success of ISMO, the first isosorbide-5-mononitrate for the treatment of angina pectoris was most satisfying experience so far. ISMO made a big impact in the market place in terms of acceptance by the doctors/sales volume and still remains the main stay of anti-angina treatment protocol.
He was instrumental in introducing a new Diagnostics business division of Boehringer Mannheim India called Patient Care Systems. In this new division he handled dry chemistry diagnostics range which includes dry chemistry analyzers, coagulation monitors, cardiac markers, urine analyzers and blood glucose monitoring Systems. After successfully establishing the new business division of Boehringer, Sanjay moved on to join Becton Dickinson India , another new launch company where he handled Insulin and hypodermic syringes and the major task was to establish distribution network besides creating some key KOL relationships for the company. During his tenure with Johnson & Johnson he had the privilege of launching LIFESCAN division with the introduction of One Touch blood glucose monitoring systems in the Indian market. In the later part of the career he managed large sales and service team handling surgical instruments and flexible endoscopes while being with Sisco-Pentax and microscopes during his tenure with Olympus India.
Sanjay is an expert in start up new market entry strategy, regulatory norms, market analysis, customer classification, KOL/Key account/Channel management, people recruitment and sales persons training programs.
He has done Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from University of Kashmir and PGDM from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, U.P. INDIA

Swarup Bhattacharyya


Swarup is a Sales and Marketing professional with 22 Years extensive experience in business start-ups with a solid background in management and marketing of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices.
Swarup was instrumental in establishing SMBG concept across North India while working for Johnson & Johnson.
His strong relationship with KOL’s helped companies like J&J, Medtronic to establish their business in North India.
While working with different MNC’s he demonstrated success in identifying business opportunities, development of new segments for business growth and business expansion.
At the starting of his career with Eli-Lilly Swarup was instrumental in establishing new business/product like human insulin in different parts of North Eastern states. Human insulin is a highly technical product and requires a high level of understanding to demonstrate the product benefits to the doctor community.
Defense and Govt. institutions business development was his area of strength during his tenure with J&J.
A highly positive, motivated and competent Team Leader with strong vision to achieve successful outcomes for clients and company.
Swarup is Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Kolkata University and MBA from IMT Ghaziabad.

Rajesh Verma


Rajesh is a Sales and Service professional with 20 Years of extensive experience with best of Indian medical devices companies.
He has handled top brands of flexible endoscopes with major focus on on-site and after sales service and repairs.
His strong relationship with KOL’s in gastroenterology and pulmonology helped companies like Lomo, Sisco-Pentax and DSS-Olympus to establish their business in major parts of North and central India.
Customer satisfaction in service jobs is his key attribute while dealing with a variety of hospitals and end users.
Equipment maintenance training to flexible endoscope technicians is one of his key areas of interest besides hand holding during training programs for new entry sales colleagues.
Rajesh has done Diploma in Electronics Engineering from U.P Polytechnic, Lucknow, U.P

Ajeet Kr Saxena


Ajeet has got good understanding of Indian Accounting norms and laws. He posseses rich knowledge in the field of Accounting, Taxation and Finance.
He has been intrumental in laying the Accounting and financial processes of different companies in the field of Manufacturing, Distribution and Finance. He assited in drafting and implementing the various financial and Risk management policies.
He has been involved in various Statutory Compliance of different organisations. Apart from handling and supervising the Accounting and Finance function of Basal HealthCare, Ajeet is also heading Product Finance Division to take care of financing needs of Basal Healthcare Customers.
Ajeet Saxena has done Marters in Finance and has B.Com(H) from Delhi University.
